Best z170 Motherboard for new to overclocking?

-EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-4996-KR 6GB FTW GAMING w/ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics
-Intel 6700k Processor.
-Rosewill Capstone-G1000, Capstone G Series 1000W Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS Gold Certified

Honestly just looking for the best motherboard with my build, not too worried about price i wouldnt mind staying under 300 but if I dont have a choice its cool.
I have been trying to research what I could but I havent had much luck, so keeping in mind im new to overclocking ( learning) what has a decent bios to learn with/OCs the best?

then I see they have the hero ALPHA, is that even worth the extra money? As long as my SSD and HDD can be used and everything else idk whats different

Not overly, but it's nice to either have a basic knowledge and/or not be afraid to ask questions. I know I've helped a number of relatively new to computers folks get set up and running (OCed in a relatively few posts and post backs right here in the forums on numerous mobos from a variety of manufacturers. And the Hero is easier than many

I've been thinking about it, and replacing my Z87 but don't see it for that big of a price difference, was about $65 last I looked

The hero Alpha has an AC Wireless 2x2/3x3 on the motherboard itself, saving you the money on AC adapters if your're not using Ethernet although getting a separate adapter would be better.

yea ill be going cord in im pretty sure with Fiber wire if not ill jsut buy a cord 😛. not worried about lighting so if thats all ill just stick with the hero

I've heard I'm wireless right now, but that will change once I move in with two friends we are sharing a house been friends for 10+ years so I'm not too worried about issues plus my friends an it/ networking in college so he's fairly knowledgable to learn from for that
