Best z87 processor

I need to buy a a processor for my new build and was wondering what processor to get. I will be purchasing two gtx 770s for sli and a xigmatek dark knight to cool my processor so I can hopefully get a decent overclock. my mother board is the gigabyte g1 sniper.

If you are building a gaming pc i would invest in the i5 4670K (you could go for the 4690K but the price difference is not worth the performance in my opinion)
if it will be used for CPU heavy tasks then the i7 4770k would be the best fit.

i would also recommend investing into a single Gtx 970 as you would get really good performance then you could use the money saved on an i7
