Better Cooling Solution for Radeon HD 3450 Low Profile Card? It came out of a dell opteplex 780. It is always overheating. It needs to fit in the case. Are there any alternate gpu coolers, it is a low profile card.

For a 3450 I've not really heard of aftermarket coolers though they might exist I wouldn't put a new cooler on a card that old though. Unless there is just absolutely no room in that case I would recommend finding a small fan and then mount that to the heat sink that's on it now cost you like 5 bucks and a couple zip ties/screws.

actually, i found a universal mount for a closed loop liquid cooler. I can just cut a hole in the side panel and it will fit.

So your going to put an AIO on it?

If you don't already own an extra AIO it'll probably be cheaper just to get a new low profile card. Last I checked you could pick up HD 6450 low profiles for like 30 bucks.

A 120mm AIO plus the bracket will probably run you around $80 or so and just a quick look on newegg shows brand new GT 740 low profiles for $90
