Better graphics card or more RAM?

So I'm on a really tight budget for a graphics card, I can either afford to get a GTX 1050 and snatch extra 4Gb of ram on top of the 4Gb I already have, or go the 1050 ti and stick with the 4Gb of Ram. Any insights?

I think more ram and the 1050 is the better buy right now. seems like too many games that are coming out these days require 8gb of ram so i can't justify a stronger GPU with only 4gb of ram.
I have a PC with 4 gb in ram, Pentium G3258 and GTX 1050ti, 1080p TV I can play AAA games like Tomb Raider (2013), Bioshock inifnite (2013), Metro last light (2013), Attila Total War (2015), Empire Total war (2009) pretty much in ultra graphics without problems, ranging from 40 to 60 fps, however, games like Shadows of Mordor (2014) stutters in some places (I blame it to the RAM) and The Witcher II has the same problem, still playable but could be better.
