Better monitor to go with Nvidia 1080 VGA?

I'm looking for a new monitor to use with my new galax hof 1080 VGA and found these two:

• 
  LG 34UC79G-B
  Samsung C34F791

I only see the difference here is about resolution and I really like the Samsung.
My concern here is my VGA can't handle 2k resolution in gaming. I'm playing Total war: Warhammer and going for Warhammer II soon.
So will my VGA find with Samsung C34F791 2k resolution in gaming? Or should I go with LG 34UC79G-B?
P/s: Update VGA is not a choice for me. Thanks

GTX 1080 with VGA? i dont think the 1080 Comes with VGA
and both the monitors you have to choose comes with HDMI and DisplayPort why not use that ?

I mean my Nvidia 1080 video graphics card should go with 34 inches 2560 x 1080 or 3440 x 1440 resolution monitor for gaming?

VGA = video graphics adapter = graphics card

Not to be confused with VGA = Video Graphics Array, the 15-pin analog video interface.

for gaming go for 2560x1440 144hz+ monitors. you can also go for 3440x1440 100hz if you like the ultrawide monitors. the upcoming asus pg35vq is a curved ultrawide monitor 3440x1440 with 200hz if you're willing to wait for it.
