I am choosing between the Asus Rog Strix B550-F Wifi and the MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge
Which one is better for a newbie to overclocking RAM and CPU

But I was more meaning to see peoples thoughts on their own motherboards, bios and the what not

I think it will come down to the CPU, mostly is silicon lotery...
Those round ups are all nice but I have no problem running my B550 M Steel with a 12 Core overclocked, good vrm temps and no instability issues.
