Better wifi signal

I've already put my router at the best place possible, but the other side of my house only has under one bar out of four. I just got Telus Fibre and they said they couldn't put it back there because the cord thing or whatever you call it isn't long enough but I doubt that. I put it in the highest, most open place in my room, but nothing seems to be working. I have 5g and 2.4g and was wondering if I can buy a cheap extender to put on the other end of the house.

if you can use ethernet get a powerline adapter that can send signal through ac socket to otherside of house with another ac socket with ethernet i got 2 in house and it works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AWRUIY4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this is what i got and its the best value one i could find from a good company dont buy from any offbrand with stuff like this i promise this one works good
