[SOLVED] Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones sound very faint after I did something ?

i was playing with my DT 990 Pro headphones and I was fidgeting with the inside of the ear and pressing down on the speaker and the driver. All of a sudden it became faint in both ears.
I tore it open and the cable seems attached fine. Did I press too hard and the speaker driver things are pushed down too far or did I mess up the actual drivers ?

Are you referring to the membrane being indented? If so, read through this reddit and see if that applies to you. If not, we're going to need you to post pictures of what you're seeing pertaining to the damage.

You could've shorted them as they share a common ground. Bummer!
