bf1 ram question

i want to purchase bf1 for my pc and are wondering if you need 8gb to actually run the game because i only have 4gb

RAM Shouldn't matter too much. Can I have your full list of specs just in case?

You should be cool with that. I am expecting a bit of the bottleneck with the 1060 and the skylake i3, but don't let that overwhelm you. 3gb of vram should hold you up nicely with the ram. No need for more ram.

4GB is scraping the bottom tho, if you're running other programs you might have a problem.

oh right , im new to pc gaming and was just wondering if games wouldnt let you play them if you didnt have the " minimum requirements " but thanks for the help anyway

In that sitation, they will almost ALWAYS play at minimum requirements. I have tried it with many games, no big problems besides having to set to lower settings. In this situation, ram wouldn't make a big difference.
