what kind of performance am i looking at in BF3 with AMD Althlon x3 440 3.6 oc GTX 550ti 1ghz oc 8gb ram

if you want 60FPS and are using 1920X1080 then low

30+ fps will be fine with me

medium with some high then (no AA) your going to stutter a bit in big 64 man servers due to your CPU should be ok though.

Best thing is let BF3 autodetect it all then watch your FPS and manually change settings to get the result you want.
