Hey all,
i just bought a SSD for bf4 and i currently have it installed on my HDD. What i want to know is what is the best way to move Battlefield 4 to my SSD and if i do it that way will i have to redownload the entire game. i have it on disk if that helps. So far im thinking i should uninstall it then reinstall it on the SSD. Please help

Solution
for the cleanest method i would advise uninstall and reinstall, just in case the registry has locations of files that are set to your existing hdd....

you probably could get away with just dragging the files over but its not best practice

I have never tried moving BF4 but I did so numerous times with BF3.
Could be the same procedures work with BF4. I´d just google for those procedures and try it with BF4.

It usually goes like this:
Backup your BF4 folder.
Change your destination folder in Origin.
Start the download and let it run to 2-5% and cancel it.
Copy your saved BF4 (respectively the files and folder in that folder) to that new BF4 folder created by origin.
Run Origin and do a "Repair Install".

But there a few more steps on when to open and close Origin. Just google for it.
