Bf4 is just a lag fest?

So here's my rig:
AMD Fx 8320
AMD Radeon 7870 GHz Edition
8GB RAM
2.5TB of storage
500w Corsair Bronze Certified

And Bf4 still lags a fair amount on 64p servers, sometimes dropping to 35-40fps. IS there anything I can do to help improve on this? Or will it have frame drops no matter what?

Also, has the AMD Mantle patch actually been released yet? :S

You will probably need to reduce the resolution. That will increase the FPS.

lower to high settings or something is one option. You could try overclocking maybe.

Thanks for the suggestion but my monitor is only 720p anyway 😛

Try tweaking your settings, fresh driver install, or make sure your resolution scale isn't set too high. What is your CPU/GPU usage while gaming?
