Question Big Origin Laptop Wont Boot & Screen Only came on once, what do?

hi guys

got this big origin laptop.
someone gave it for free cos it wont boot.
i turned it on, screen lit up, it was saying what to press for boot options
screen turned off and i rebooted it
now screen no longer turns on when i turn the laptop on...

When it was asking about boot options I was thinking I'd make an usb or something...
But now screen no longer turns on...
Any ideas on what to do with this? OR why screen no longer turns on?

EDIT: i just noticed that the screen isnt actually black, its just very dim, against sun light i can see origin logo come on when i turn it on

i have not opened it up so i dunno whats missing if somethings missing
the only thing i am aware its missing is battery....

its win8 era so i assume its not completely obsolete as a product
do u think this is worth fixing? worth something sold "for parts"

I see people on ebay try to get 190 eur for the power adapter (when new/open box) but only one sale 16 eur used one...

i assume these should be its specs?

Very likely that the battery is failing, perhaps take the battery out and power up only with the AC adapter. Might want to also remove the rams from the laptop and try powering up to see if you get any warning LED's flash or a beep from the laptop.

battery is missing altogether

i did that, but i was too lazy to use one that didnt require video adapter, i will try with one of my dp displays later... theres also some external screen button in the keyboard
