Hello all, so this past week I've spent my spare time building my first ever build and I've got everything working except when I try install the AMD CCC (plus drivers) for my 7970 it just says 'Installation complete (warnings occurred during installation)' so CCC doesn't appear anywhere on my system, I've tried this many times over and same thing happens every time. It is a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit so there is no need for driver sweepers. Really need some help here cause I'm out of ideas

Thanks

Specs:

i5-3570k
Sapphire 7970
Gigabyte Z77-D3h
8gb G.SKILL RAM
Cooler Master GX 650W PSU

Really ripping my hair out over this. Tried so many different fixes last night but none worked

Well, that looks like your card is not recognized by the installer or the installer failed completely at some point! Does it show in device management? Is your monitor connected to the card or to the onboard video? Power cable connected to the card? Card properly seated? Sorry, only guessing now, what went wrong.

Well windows automatically is using Intel HD 4000 graphics for the display adapter, the monitor is connected to the motherboard but I thought it should still recognise the graphics card? If that is the problem I will be relieved. I am doing a clean install of windows 7 now and fully updating it before installing ANYTHING then I will try again this afternoon.

Ok I fixed the problem myself. I'm not gonna say how because I am THAT much of an idiot for not doing at 2 dam days ago. Just glad I finally got the card working (haven't tried games etc yet but it's giving out a display signal now so that's something)
