My external hard drive got disconnected somehow. Dunno how it happened. Anyways, I reconnect it, and a big folder filled with .pds files (powerdirector) is gone ! Everything else is still there. I tried recovery on windows, it didn't work. Diskdrill, recovery for software. That didn't work either. How can a folder just disappear like that? Space has been freed up, so it doesnt look like it's hidden. Opening a pds file leads to a message saying that the source of this file is not there. So no folder.
