Hello,

Yesterday I received my motherboard from Newegg. It's the Asus ROG Maximus Formula VIII.
As I opened the box to perform inspection, I noticed that the RAM dimms are not in correct alternating color. They are grey, black, black, grey.....

All the product pictures show black,grey,black,grey. Even the manual shows this.

Did I just win the most unlucky award??

I mean as long as there aren't any issues, I'm sure you're fine. I guess it's like finding a chip shaped like Jesus

Colors don't matter, Every slot should be marked with position, 1, 2 ,3, 4 and that's only thing that counts.

Considering every product image, video review, and manual of this mobo shows the traditional alternating color sequence, I think I won't take my chances in the off chance there is indeed a flaw.
