This former student who bought a tablet/laptop hybrid and used it to take all of my notes, browse lecture slides, and even surf the web (all in tablet mode) will tell you that the stylus is vastly superior to doing any of that with a finger. I will not consider a tablet PC unless it has a stylus as an option. There's use for both, but you cannot get rid of the stylus without sacrificing a lot of usability.

And the pen tucked right in its own slot in my laptop/tablet. I've had the thing for about 2 1/2 years now and I've not lost it at all. Especially since it's tethered to the laptop itself. 😛

What gives? Did the class bully violate you with a stylus at some point?
 
hopefully Microsoft will have the decency to make the next release of Windows support "true" multi touch My tablet can only take 2 fingers and a Wacom stylus (Fujitsu T900 with i7-620M model) =( Maybe i am dreaming too much?
