BinkW32.DLL installed in windows System Directory Error code (0xc0000142)

Whenever I try to run a game on my computer, it shows "BinkW32.DLL file is installed in the windows or windows system directory - It must be installed in the application directory" then it shows "Error Code (0xc0000142)"

I have ran many games on my desktop and this thing has never happened before. This is happening with Assassin's Creed III, DmC Devil May Cry (5), Motogp 2 and many other games but only not in NFS Most Wanted 2 (2012) Limited Edition. Any solutions?

No, that was not useful at all. I think I will have to reinstall OS.

I had the same fault but with a different game, i downloaded a windows repair tool from www.dllerrorrepair.net which fixed it and ran the game without any isuues, hope that helps.

All answers here are wrong. Now the answer is that just delete the "Binkw32.dll" file from "Windows/System32". Copying this file to System32 creates a damage directory and then it causes errors in Bink Enabled games. I did this and my PC Ran absolutely fine. Now the problem is that I can't get a "Best Answer" for myself. :lol:
