Hi
My mobo is Maximums X Hero Wifi, Today when i turned on the PC the boot process stopped and Press F1 to enter bios text appeared on screen when entering the bios and restarting system again (from save and exit in bios) the system load normally this happens every time i unplugged the PC it seems the motherboard battery is empty but the system time and date is correct also i bought this mobo about 2 years ago and i think battery life is longer than this time!

The battery changing is hard because it is under big VGA card (Strix RTX 2080)😣
This problem maybe has another reason?

Thanks

Have you run any tests on the drive to check it's drive health?

As far as the CMOS battery is concerned, I'd either check it's voltage with a meter or replace it. It doesn't matter that your motherboard is only two years old. The CMOS battery used in it could have been a much older unit from the ASUS inventory. I've seen motherboards SHOW UP, new, still in the box, with a weak CMOS battery once or twice.
