Hi I bought a new sandisk 120 gig ssd. My problem is if i plug it in and start the pc when boot up i get this message : port 1(doing that in all of the ports) restart port error. I'm not seeing the ssd in the bios but i can see both of my hdds. I tried 3 cable too one is working for sure. Bios is in AHCI mode. I tried to put the ssd in another pc and it recognized it. What is the problem, what should I do? Thanks!

Turned to ide mode and put in win 10 install cd somehow the installer sees the ssd with 118.xy gb. I started the install but we will see. Keep in mind its in IDE mode! Is it gonna work now?

It seems there's an incompatibility with your motherboard (seeing it as IDE only) and the SSD. For whatever reason, the motherboard cannot see the SSD in AHCI mode. You could try updating the BIOS (if there's an update) but to use the SSD in AHCI mode, you'd probably have to upgrade the motherboard.
