[SOLVED] BIOS Detects Both RAM still showing half

Hi recently installed a new 8gb ddr3 HyperX stick (1866mhz) - it’s not being added to my total RAM, as it is still showing 8192. My other stick is 1600Mhz of the same brand and size - I read online that this shouldn’t be a problem. My motherboard is an MSI a68hem-V2. Windows is finding 16b but only 8gb is usable.

Edit: other 8gb is showing when I go to board explorer in the BIOS

Adding ram is hit and miss even if identical and purchased at separate times.

Lol I fixed it. Just switched around the ram positions and it worked.
