Question BIOS Detects SSD but wont boot windows 11

Just picked up a cyberpower prebuilt :
Zotac GTX 4070 Super
Intel i9-14900KF
MSI Z790P WIFI
Apevia 1000 watt gold 80 plus PSU
2x 16gb Teamgroup T-Force Vulkan DDR5
Western Digital Blue SN580 2TB (This is where i thing the problem is)

I booted it up no problem out of box and first thing that I do is update BIOS because one of the reviews reccomended it. Then I do the usual, set up steam, discord, download some games...

I decide that I should probably update windows and we'll and do so without a hitch the first time. When I go to check again, there are more updates so I download those as well.

With over a TB of games downloading and windows updating, I decide to do some other stuff while I wait. When I return, the computer is in BIOS which I thought was a little concerning.

Turns out I was right. It's stuck in a boot loop now. The white VGA light stays solid for a good 10 seconds and then the green boot light pops on when BIOS starts up. If I try to save and continue to windows, my computer shuts off and repeats that over and over.

I've reseated everything, reset CMOS by jumper (the hosers at cyberpower decided to jam something to prevent the release of the CMOS Battery???), reset BIOS to default.

I tried the MSI NVME self-test yet it failed. I tried to secure erase the drive in desperation (I know I could reinstall windows) but even that didn't work.

I enter windows recovery through a windows 10 install USB to maybe reset from there and try windows 10 but I couldn't find the reset in advanced options. Windows repair failed to start, I can't revert my windows to a previous version and recovery also failed.

I did some research and found that the windows 11 24H2 update screwed around with the WD SN580 but I haven't a clue to to fix that issue when I cant even access my OS. If I clean install windows, will my SSD just do the same thing or have they released a fix.
Sorey for the long rant but I've been working at this for over 10 hours, reseating, researching, trying different BIOS settings, tried an old HDD but it wasn't compatible with UEFI...

I'm completely loss and quite frustrated. Just need some pointers is all

Sounds like a problem to work with the manufacturer. If you just bought it they should make it right.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

^ thought that's for a BSOD issue, your drive is not showing up in BIOS which would mean the drive has failed or your motherboard BIOS is at fault. Since the system is brand new, you're entitled to a working computer not troubleshoot it from day one of your purchase. You should contact them.

I visited their support website and the first thing there is an article that tells me how to fix it. I highly doubt they'll send a replacement for a software issue.
The only option for my situation is a fresh windows 11 install which I assume would be windows 24H2 instead of the previous version. Would that not cause the same exact issue?

It may or may not cause the same problem.
Currently, it is completely unknown if that Win update IS the source of the problem.

But, this is a brand new system. No matter what the problem is, it is on them to make it right.
(assuming it is not something you did)

Yoweri I meant contact CyberpowerPC, not WD and no this isn't something you fix on your own, not after buying a brand new system.
I'm concerned that my troubleshooting may have voided warranty. All I did was remove the GPU, M.2 SSD, both sticks of ram and cut off a zip tie so I could attach power to my HDD. Obviously I'll read up on the warranty but I'm not very hopeful. I'm sure they'll find some petty way to refuse

The only people that can determine that is CyberPower.
Won't know until you ask.

I just reread your comment. I forgot to clarify one thing.
The drive does show up in BIOS. I can see it but I can't self test, secure erase or boot to windows from it.

What did I tell you guys. I knew they'd point me in the same direction I just came from. Regardless, I'll have to make a clean windows install. Not sure how I'll download the western digital app without the OS working.
