Bios f10 shutdown

When i change to xmp on my asus z170 pro gaming the pc doesn't shutdown and reboot it's just on and shows a black screen. Is it normal for taking over 10min when i change oc specs in the bios?

Not normally. Should take a few seconds longer normally
