Bios help please

I installed a new SSD onto my computer and I am trying to set it up as my boot drive. Every time I try to get into the bios I end up at "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics" and I can't edit the boot order from there, or at least I don't think I can. Please help.

On many machines (and this is set in BIOS) the way to enter BIOS Setup is to hold down the "Del" key as you boot. BUT not all. Boot your machine and watch the screen VERY closely - often especially at the bottom - for a message on exactly which key to hold down when booting to "Enter Setup".

I figured out the problem, the screen would just go black when I would enter the bios but that was because my hdmi cable was connected to my graphics card and not onto my integrated graphics, but thank you for your response anyways!
