Hey guys I have the ASUS M5A97 Motherboard along with the amd fx 6350 cpu and amd r7 260x graphics card. If I go onto the bios from setup, it is really zoomed in, how do I change this? Thanks
I have the EZ Bios also sorry

Solution
It's your screen not being compatible with the Asus UEFI bios so that's why it's zoom in.
This same problem will also happen if you connect it to a CRT monitor.
You'll have to connect it directly to another LCD monitor.
Try a DVI connector and see if that works.

No drivers of any kind are loaded until the OS loads. At POST, the BIOS controls the video. Drivers are strictly for the OS to use.

If you want to try one more thing..since you have no other card to test with, you could try turning everything off, unplugging the PSU. Remove the card from the MB. Let everything sit for a few minutes. Reassemble and turn on the PC. See if anything changes.

The problem could even be the MB BIOS itself that is at fault. But without another card to test with, there's no way to be sure.

Another (simplier) thing to try, is unplug computer from wall, pull the watch battery looking thing out of your motherboard, let computer sit 45~60 seconds, push power button on computer, put battery back into motherboard, plug computer back up, turn computer on, this will reset the bios and "maybe" fix your issue. I doubt it helps. sounds like you need maybe a bios update, but thats hard to do when you can't see the bios.... hmm, have a buddy with a monitor you can borrow?

I scared myself and removed then replaced the graphics card successfully may I add :). There seems to be no difference so I will try the watch battery now and hopefully it has a better result. Just want to say thank you guys for all the support

We wouldn't suggest anything too difficult on a forum (or at least I wouldn't) If nothing else you'll learn a few things from doing this and be more computer savy for it.

If this doesn't work its time to steal a friends monitor, hell its possible another TV might react differently, can always try that as well.

The lcd tv works downstairs but the tv i am using now is the wharfedale 37" lcd tv also so i am wondering why this is not working. But the bios and everything does work fine so thanks

I had the same problem with Windows 7 and a Z97 msi motherboard, at first I thought it was the nvidia or intel graphics drivers (i5 4670k) but I then realized I had changed from a dvi cable to a hdmi cable at the monitor end abd both cables plugging into the dvi slot on the gpu, not at the same time as my 1060 has only 1 dvi slot. Once I changed back to dvi to dvi everything was working as normal.
I changed cables as I couldn't get a hdmi to hdmi connection working with the 1060? except if the gpu end was dvi and the monitor hdmi?? Not sure why that is tge case but I read elsewhere I am better off to use the 1 hdmi and 3 display port connections for multiple monitors....

And what if the same lcd worked fine before ?
I am having the same issue

Try going into the advanced bios and see if it looks more normal? if it does, you can change it to alwasy boot into advanced mode so you won't have to see that again, but it is an odd "bug" I would like to see some pics of it as well.
I am having the same issue how can i send you pictures
