I posted a write up of the problem I am having here:

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/244810-30-strange-mobo-issue-hard-disk-issue

The short of it:

Windows installer finds all hard drives to install on when Sata channels Bios are set to IDE Controller
Windows installer does not find any hard disk to install on when Sata channels in Bios are set to RAID Controllers

The quick questions -
Did I use the RAID Driver disk - Yes, every time I attempted to install.
What windows version - XP Pro 32bit.

Any / all help is welcome.

Did you use the RAID BIOS (usually F10 just after the main post screen) to create a RAID array?

edit - nevermind, I just read your other post.

You seem to be having a similar issue as my bro did. It turned out to be his Windows disk was too old and did not support RAID properly. He called the Mobo manufacturer (Asus) and they gave him the steps to correct it. I will ask him tonite if he still has the directions but knowing him he didn't write them down. Try calling the manufacturer of your Mobo.
