Question BIOS not compatible with cpu

my friend is in the process of building a pc and he is worried that his motherboard bios isnt compatible with his cpu, he bought a Ryzen 7 5800x and an asus prime b550 plus motherboard,i know its probably an easy question but it is confusing me ,his motherboard doesnt have flashback on it,and i just want to know will it work and if it doesnt how do i fix it? TIA

what does first release bios mean sorry?

First release as in the first BIOS version released on the board. Which is good because it means you don't need to update it to get the 5800X running on it.
