I just built this PC and I'm setting up the bios. I have 1 ssd to store OS and other programs on and 2 1tb hard drives going to be set for raid 1.

So under the sata information it shows all 4 data devices. SSD, 2 HDD, and my optical drive.

Under the boot priority it only shows 1 HHD and the optical drive. I reset the bios to factory settings and its the same thing.

But when I go to install the OS it ask what drive I want to install on. It let's me select the SSD?

should I be concerned or is it fine?

Solution
If your pc uses a uefi bios then please be sure you research on how to install windows in UEFI mode otherwise you will waste your time installing only to find out it wont boot windows.

I had this problem on my ASUS z97 board. There is an option in the BIOS that lets you select a primary and secondary drive. Once the SSD is selected as primary you will see it as an option in the boot priority.

Hope that helps, sorry i don't have more details.
