BIOS not working

Bios not booting!


I've recently built a custom computer, but can't seem to get it to boot. It gets power and all the fans spin up and everything lights up but when I look to my monitor nothing is happening with the VGA signal. I've rechecked the cables many times and I'm sure it's not the monitors problem so I'm just not sure what it would be. So if I could get someone even telling me what's wrong I would be happy at this point.

Try resetting the BIOS.

Make sure you are using the motherboard output on the first boot as the BIOS may not have changed the display priority to the GPU.

If this is the case you will have to do it manually.

pull the gpu and one ram stick it can be a bios bug too not letting the new gpu post. once it posts update the bios if needed.

The CPU has integrated graphics, so are you able to get a video signal if you remove the GTX 1050 and plug the monitor into the motherboard?
