Question bios problem

Hi
Im trying to update my bios version to the final version
The weird thing:
Last version: 7A71v16
My version: E7A71IZ1.v1.j1
I get the feeling that a beta bios version is installed not by me.
And i dont know how to update or downgrade nothing seems to work.
I try usb/dosbox/cmd/uefi bios update
He is not recognize the files ive downloading from msi website.

Thats the model
Z270-a pro
This is for my son i want to put i7-7700k insted i5-6600
Any advice please

Use CPU-Z and see what's listed under the motherboard's tab. I have a sneaky suspicion that maybe your build was a prebuilt system by a boutique builder like CyberPowerPC or IBuyPower. They used to use boards that were bespoke but were a rebadged board.

Can you walk us through how you're trying to update/flash the BIOS?

I did buy the motherboard only
It was many years ago
I try to update the bios through uefi mode but the files not recognize
Its hard for me to explain my english not so good

When i build this pc the motherboard was the only part that i buy from a friend
The rest was from a local shop
Cpu z show the same info

I think the friend sold it very cheap beacuse he know what the real problem and hide it from me.

I cant even find one topic or post anywhere about this bios version
Its very very weird
I dont know what more to say or do
I Think its hopeless
