Im trying to get into the BIOS to change, or turn on the VT setting, its an older computer.
HP- Pavillion 500-series. I upgraded it a few years back.
cpu-i7-4790 intel
16gb ram 2slots 8gb in each.
650 watts corsair psu.
downgraded the graphics card to a 670 nvidia.
its only so my wife can use BlueStacks, she likes all those android games. The computer was just sitting, I upgraded and built me a new computer, anyways went and got a brand new ssd 500gb hard drive. threw and old graphics card in it, reinstalled windows 10 pro. Everything works. I finally got all the updates installed.
run super fast, super super fast. Never had any problems with the bios. it even has its newest update also . I never had problems getting into a BIOS, I have tried most of the tricks there are so many.
Went into settings went thru the Restart, clicked on the log into the UEFi, the computer then shuts off restarts, ive held down delete, pushed it as fast as i can , same with F10, ive tried all the F keys , ( no not all at once).not sure what im forgetting cause i know its gonna be something i have been overlooking.
maybe I should try and slow it down take out one of the sticks of ram or the video card. im pretty sure that i cant get into the BIOS is because the computer starts and even if you restarts so fast, I wish I could get my new computer to load that fast.
Once you push the power button to turn it ,its ready, in task manager I think its in the startup tab top right corner last load time 1.8-2.6 sec. So if any one can help , I sure would appreciate it. I just need to turn on the VT (Virtual Technology), something like that. It loads everything that fast internet ,other games, But BlueStacks,NOX, it literally cant even load a game. Not sure what BlueStacks has going on but it sucks...Thank you.
