Question TOSLINK out died.

MSI MAG X870 WiFi.
Just motherboard related so I didn't post all components.
Optical out died while in use. First I tried a couple of optical cables. Checking the port by pushing the window open I did not see any visible light emanating from the motherboard. RMA'ed the board but if anybody has any ideas, I'd like to hear about it before I pull it out and ship it.

Edit: I don't know if this means anything... Realtek out sill shows up in system\sound settings. Funny it reads, "USB audio" when it really enables TOSLINK. At least in my PC.

Problem resolved. Reinstalling the chipset drivers took care of dead TOSLINK out problem..
