Sometimes, when i save and exit BIOS, it freezes. Keyboard and mouse stop responding. Mouse cursor also disappear from the bios screen. Bios screen still shows up on monitor but is freezed. All fans and ram/gpu RGB lights keeps running indefinetely. It seems to happen randomly (about half of save and exit), regardless of what changes i made. I didn't find any way to reproduce the issue consistently, beside the fact that it only happens on save and exit.

So i have to shut down computer with power button and turn in back on. Getting back in BIOS shows me that every changes i made had been saved properly despite the fact that it froze.

BIOS is updated to lastest non-beta version. Resetting CMOS did not fix the issue.

Having to manually turn off computer after a freeze is no problem for me, i'm just wondering if i should be worried about that. Could it be a symptom of a bigger problem, or should i just ignore it ?

I would update the BIOS to the latest Beta version, which seems to be 7D78v172(Beta version). Clear the CMOS after you've verified that the BIOS was flashed to the latest version. Then try and tinker with settings in BIOS.
Thanks, i will try that !

As a side question, if there is a problem during BIOS update (such as power outage, or cat "accidently" jumping on power switch), does the button that allows to update BIOS with a flash drive without CPU/RAM fixes it ? Or does it still brick the motherboard ? Asking because i suffer from severe anxiety and the few minutes it takes flashing BIOS sometimes triggers a panic attack.
