Bios Recognizes USB, Windows Doesn't

I recently re-formatted my USB when I burned the Chromium OS image to it. It works fine when I want to boot the OS on my PC, however, if I boot to Windows and try to re-format it, Windows refuses to recognize the disk as a USB. How do I fix this?

Go to Device Manager in Windows and check your Universal Serial Bus controllers. Are there any yellow triangles.?

Hi there Hero Miles,

Have you checked Disk Management? The USB drive should be recognized under Disk Management. You can go over there and reformat it.

I figured it out. Neither of the above was the solution. Thanks for the quick replies though.
