When powering pc on I receive the following message:

Award Bootblock Bios v1.0
Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software, Inc.
Bios Rom Checksum Error
Detecting IDE ATAPI device ...

Found CDROM, try to Boot from it ...Fail
Detecting Floppy Drive A media...
Drive A error. System Halt

Then the computer stops

I have tried numerous things such as:

-reset bios settings by removing chmos battery and power supply overnight
-pressing all F1-F12 keys and del (no effect)
-using a different hard drive

Any ideas how to fix?
Also I dont want to flash as I dont have the knowledge and Im probs gonna mess it up.

Also when I boot from the CD ROM, I get aan error like this:
No physical memory is available at the location required for the windows boot manager. The system cannot continue

If it looks like these errors, Your battery may be dead. These images are literally just systems with dead batteries.

Now you may have to enter the bios to TELL it to boot from the hard drive. What board/system do you have?

The board that I have is the P5LP-LE (Leonite) motherboard

Also I have tried to replace the chmos battery with one from a different working system to test it out but no luck

Well, You will have to enter the bios and at least try to load defaults and maybe tell it to boot off the hard drive.

If it is a single hard drive system, it will be easy enough.

On post it will tell you what to press to enter setup(sometimes F1 or F10 or delete. It can vary from brand to brand. I am almost sure it was F10 on my old Compaq[hp owns them])

The option you are looking for will be under the tab called BOOT.

There is no post or anything ....

It goes directly to the error

Also, I already tried F1-F12 keys, del, etc for bios boot but no luck
