Hi there,

Im recently have issues with my bios. I reset the CROM because of some performance issues whilst gaming and I’ve been lazy to change the boot order since so every time I startup the PC I press F11 to manually boot windows.

However now whenever I do this I’m greeted with a blank MSI screen and now startup options.

I also cannot access the bios, I’ve attached an image of what loads. I’ve tried resetting the CMOS again and this seems to not be doing anything.

I’ve tried different gpu outputs and that doesn’t work either.

Motherboard is a msi z170-a pro.
CPU is a i7 6700k

Does anybody have any recommendations on how to overcome this?

That board doesn't have any onboard button/function to flash the BIOS with a pen drive without being able to see what you're doing(i.e, without a GUI), I would suggest you source(perhaps borrow) a CH341 BIOS programmer toolkit and reflash the BIOS with the latest version, then clear the CMOS and then see if the issue is alleviated.

A corrupt BIOS won't go away magically with clearing the CMOS, just putting that out there in case clearing the CMOS now hasn't helped(sans a BIOS reflash). To me it looks like a the BIOS is corrupt or Windows 10/11 doesn't like your BIOS/board.
