I have Lenovo G580 laptop wih pre installed Win 8 . I Installed CentOS Linux in a new partition which caused some error bcoz window 8 wont boot .

Using recovery drive I was able to restore a new copy od Windows and deleted the Linux drive using disk management .

Now my BIOS setting wont load after pressing F2 .
When booting the below details are shown :-

" System BIOS shadowed"
" Video BIOS shadowed "

Also when I connect a bootable USB or CD the option does not show in F12 menu and CentOS is still present even after removing it

Can anyone help me how to fix this .

Hold down shift while you click shutdown and then start it back up and see if the option is there.
Win8 & 10 do not do a full shutdown by default, they enter a hybrid powerdown, much like hibernation, instead so that you will start up faster..
