Question Bios shows CPU clock is 3.7 but in games it's only 3.3?

hi guys
i have i5 3340s on a desktop pc and a ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 motherboard
my problem is that when i overclock my cpu from 3.3 to 3.7 in bios it show that clock speed is 3.7 and when i run windows on idle it goes to 3.7 but in games and stress test cpu clock don't go above 3.3
and also my cpu temp is fine(max:60c)

3340s is a non overclockable CPU. Only bclk and turbo core can be maxed out. All core 3.3GHz is the most you can get with it only using the multiplier to overclock.

but i see in youtube guys are overclocking cpues who are not ending with k or x

It was doable on Intel's 3rd gen cpus and earlier - they attempted to patch it out on the software level.
4th gen and up is locked on the hardware level.

I'm aware it is, I was answering why you saw some Youtubers being able to do it on non-Z boards.

Only you can tell us if yours was patched out already or not.
