Question BIOS UPDATE for B450M DS3H BIOS ID check error

I am currently trying to upgrade my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600 to A Ryzen 7 5800X3D but cannot update my Motherboard (B450M DS3H) to the proper BIOS version. I do the whole process of downloading the file, extracting the file to a flash drive formatted to FAT32, going to BIOS, and updating bios, BUT every time I try double-clicking the new bios version OR clicking the arrow to the right it Just gives me the "BIOS ID check error."

I have tried using different flash drives, as well as trying F64 and F63a but both give the same issue. I have been trying to solve problem for hours, please help!!!

Are you certain your motherboard is not one of the other versions of the B450M DS3H?

A free program like Speccy or HWiNFO should identify the motherboard revision number.

I just downloaded CPU-Z and went to the "mainboard" tab and there are two numbers next to Rev. which are 00 and 51

Speccy will give you a Version revision number.

I just tried both revision bios files and one of em worked lol, thank you a lot for the help tho

Did you end up finding the issue? I'm having the exact same problem.

Edit: Found out the issue was that the motherboard SN was directing to the wrong revision/revisions, and that it was Rev 1.5
