Bios Update for Windows 10

So im building a new pc and my parts include an intel core i5-4460, asrock h97m anniversary motherboar and a radeon r9 380 from asus.

My question is will i need to updat my bios to clean install a new copy of windows 10 on my motherboard or can that even be done.

Im very new to pc building and have read that bios updates can cause more harm than good so im just trying to figure out what to do and how to do it, so that i can install windows 10 on my new pc. Please help!

There is no mention in description of needing a BIOS update for Windows 10. It does say to update to the latest BIOS with Instant Flash or Internet Flash in the UEFI setup if you are using Windows 10. See Column with red cross for How to Update Instructions. Updates from within a Windows based environment are the most risky way to update a BIOS.
