[SOLVED] BIOS update on B550 Tomahawk

Hi,
I am setting up a system with a B550 Tomahawk and AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
Would you recommend updating the BIOS for the B550 Tomahawk tot he latest despite it being a Beta?
Did any of you try?

Also can you do the BIOS update with CPU and memory installed or do you need to remove them first?

Hey man,

I wouldn't upgrade to a beta version. I always use the latest stable versions. And no, there's no need at all to remove any components at all to be able to update your BIOS.
