hey

i bought a new ram (2gb) so i could reach 4 gb on my pc.
on my desktop's properties it says 4gb ram ( 3.25 usable )

so i've tried the msconfig solution / boot / advanced .. didnt work.

so i read that another solution is to upgrade bios and i found my bios's version file on the foxconn support website

the description of the file is this : Description: Patch the memory size show error in 64bit OS when plugging 4G memory

which is the solution i need.. so i download the file and run it and this error comes up :
"This verison of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) verion of the program.

the way i see it only solution is updating bios, but i dont know how, the only way i found was this, and that error comes up, any help?
