Question Bios update usb drive not showing up in flags modes

So im trying to update my mobos bios(msi mpg x570 gaming edge wifi) but the usb drive isn't showing up in flash mode,i can tell that the usb drive is recognised because if shows up in the bios as "usb hdd" but it isn't showing up in flash mode
Usb drive is a 64 gb pen drive formatted to fat32 through a third party software

FAT32 formatted pen drives cannot exceed 32GB!

1. Split your pen drive into two by creating 2 partitions.
2. Format those partitions as FAT32.
3. Put the BIOS file on one of those partitions
4. Introduce the pen drive into a USB 2.0 slot.
