[SOLVED] BIOS Update?

I have a Foxconn 2ABF Motherboard in a budget system im building for someone. The original CPU was a Pentium G640 and it bottle necked the Geforce GT 1030 I installed so I bought an i7 3770. I didnt realize that it was an Ivy Bridge model and that my motherboard wouldnt be able to post with that CPU and now im kinda stuck. I have seen people use this CPU in this motherboard i assume that its done by updating the BIOS. Can anyone help?

stick the Pentium back in and update the BIOS to the latest version to see if it helps.

I switched back to the CPU and it posted correctly again. Now i’m just not sure what file i’m looking for for the Bios update. I can’t seem to find it. And also i’ve done a Bios update before but i need to get this CPU to work.
