My current CPU requires Bios 1.40, My Mobo has Bios P2.00.
I am going to install a new CPU that requires Bios P2.60
Can I upgrade the Bios now with the current Cpu still in it?

Solution
BIOS upgrades need to be done with a CPU compatible with current BIOS, as they would likely not even POST with an incompatible newer CPU paired with an older BIOS. Generally, the sequence is flasht he bIOS with old CPU, remove old CPU, clear CMOS, insert new CPU, power up and hope for the best!
