Bioshock 1 says " Wrong Disk Inserted "

Solution
Hello users,
.
I have been frustrated with this issue also, below is my recent reply from Securom:

The most efficient way for us to assist is an analysis file for evaluation. In
order to generate this analysis file, please do the following:

1) Make sure the original disc is in a physical, local CD, DVD or BD drive. If
you have purchased a digitally downloaded version (no disc), please proceed to
step 2.
2) Restart your computer (the reboot is to ensure that there are no additional
instances of the software running when generating the file).
3) Right-click on the application's desktop shortcut or the actual
application's executable file in the installation folder, and a menu will

3) Right-click on the application's desktop shortcut or the actual
application's executable file in the installation folder, and a menu will
appear.
4) Choose 'Launch Analysis' from this menu.
5) A disclaimer window may appear on your screen. To proceed click 'Yes'.
Another window may appear stating that an analysis log will be generated; if
so click 'OK'. If any error messages appear, click 'Cancel' to continue.
6) After a period of time, the program will generate a file named
'AnalysisLog.sr0' and place it on your hard drive showing you the path in the
last screen (usually the location of the 'AnalysisLog.sr0' file is either your
computers desktop or in the root of your 'C:' drive). When the file has been
generated, a dialog may appear stating it has finished. Click 'OK' to complete
the process.
7) Please compress the file using a program such as WinZip or WinRAR (to avoid
email corruption), and attach it (using the ‘staple’-symbol in your e-mail
client) to your e-mail to support@securom.com.

Windows Vista users:
Follow the steps outlined above through step 6. Using Windows Vista the file
will be stored in the following path: 'C:\Users\?YOUR
USER?\Desktop\AnalysisLog.sr0'. If by chance this folder is hidden, you may
have to display hidden folders. To do so, please follow these steps:
1) Go to 'Start' and left-click on 'Control Panel'.
2) Left-click on 'Appearance and Personalization'. Then select 'Folder
Options'.
3) Now select the 'View' tab, then select 'Show hidden files and folders'. You
should now have access to the folder.

If you do not see the 'Launch Analysis' option available in the menu after you
re-start your computer or you have problems with the instructions above,
please find a detailed description including screenshots how to create the
analysis file using the command line on our website:
http://www.securom.com/support_enduser.asp?t=1

When we receive the analysis file, we will evaluate your issue and respond
with a resolution.

Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

Subject: Bioshock install fail
Date: 2014-02-07 12:15:02

Hello,

I recently purchased the 2K published Bioshock/Borderlands bundle. While
Borderlands installed and plays perfectly, BIOSHOCK STALLS AT THE UPDATE
PATCH, failing, with the message that the disc is not original. Can you
suggest a solution?

The install never asks for the product code, which is
**F9-RF7G-**QE-7P**-D3**, which seems weird.

I have original discs, packaging and proof of purchase.

Please help.

Thankyou, GMS.
