Discussion Bitdefender Total Security vs Norton Antivirus Plus

How does Bitdefender total security compare to Norton Antivirus Plus? Was gifted a subscription(1 device ) of Norton Antivirus Plus and was thinking of returning it and purchasing Bitdefender total security since I can't get Norton to activate without a credit card. Best Buy currently has Bitdefender Total Security on sale for $24.99 for 5 devices.

Bit Defender has a free version, and Kaspersky Cloud Free both work fine...and are, as implied, ...free.

The person who gifted Norton to me is going to return it. Too late to buy nothing, already purchased a 1 year subscription of Bitdefender total security, Best Buy had Total Security on sale for $24.99 so I grabbed a copy before the sale ended.
