Question Bitfenix Nova Mesh ARGB - all fans and leds not working

Hello, so recently I bought a new case Bitfenix Noba Mesh ARGB Midi tower, although I couldn’t get case fans to work and show LED. All these fans were already pre-attached to the case.

Apart from standard panel connectors I’ve noticed 2 new cables which I assume are related to fans/LED

One of them is labelled as PWM and it is 4 pin cable similar to where fans are connected on motherboard so I plugged it to CH_fan1.

Another one was marked as GDV and it is 3 pin. I’ve plugged it to ADD_GEN2.

I am using Asus Prime B660-Plus D4 motherboard

I feel like I’ve connected it wrong, but I couldn’t find anything about it in case manual.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It's best if you parse images of the connectors that are left over, apart from the front panel connectors, in order to verify what you're seeing. You can host your images on a site like Imgur or their ilk and then parse a link here. I tried downloading the manual for the case you're working with, sadly the manual is generic for the Nova Mesh range and not specific to the ARGB variant, meaning newcomers are going to end up being clueless when dealing with the ARGB/RGB cables.

Sure So here is the back panel of my case. It has this fan hub/connector if I am correct, it has been already pre-installed. I've just noticed that there is a SATA connection that I think should be plugged to PSU, but I haven't do it. Am I correct?

The case then provided these 3 cables. One of them is PWM labelled cable and the other 2 are joined together. One is 3 pin cable with a gap which is unlabelled and second one has a label 'GDV'

I have marked a location of where I've plugged them. I have connected PWM cable to CHA_FAN1

And then I've connected unlabelled 3 pin cable with a gap to the ADD_GEN2 (According to my mobo manual it is Addressable Gen 2 Header used to connect individually addressable RGB strips)

Besides from that I left GDV cable unplugged as I don't know where this one goes.

Aside from this, I've noticed 2 more slots on my mobo, but I post it just as reference as I don't know if I should plug anything to them.

All you need to do now is plug power into the controller with the SATA power plug.
Then everything should work.
