Bitfenix Phenom M Airflow - Advice Needed!

Hi all,

I recently recieved a Phenom M for my new build. I could really use some advise about the airflow plan i am going to follow and whether it's solid or not.

The main problem is that using a 140mm Corsair H90 for CPU cooling i cannot place any fans at the bottom of the case, so i thought using the PSU as an exchaust. Here is a random image i found in order to describe the airflow i am going to use.

It's 2 120mm fans as intake (top) and the 140mm fan of H90 {Spectre Pros] and PSU's fan as exchaust.

So is it ok, or i need to be starting looking for a new watercooling kit?

What if you used your H90 fan as input, the one above the H90 fan as input, and the top two fans as output?
I don't like the fact that all your output is only provided by PSU and the heatsink. It's going to get too hot.

Or maybe use one of the top fans as input and the other as output?

Output is provided by the 140mm Fan of the H90 (rear) and PSU so the overall is:
2x120mm Fans Input (top)
1X140 output (rear) + PSU as outpout (front)

There really isn't any room for another fan due to H90's length covering the bottom of the case.

Are you comfortable with dremels?
maybe drill a couple of holes to add a 80mm fan at the bottom?

My opinion is that you can discount the PSU output as anything meaningful because that output is going to do everything it can to output heat from the PSU itself and won't move air generated by CPU, GPU, etc out of the case.

the way you have the psu set up its not exhausting because its drawing its own air from outside the case. you would need to reverse it if you wanted it as exhaust. I think the way that image shows is probably best for that case. An alternative way would be to have the H90 drawing air in, and the top fans exhaust, although if you really have 2 cards in sli, that may or may not work with warmer cpu fan air blowing past them

thanks for your time. That's not my Case, that's a random image i picked in order to demonstrate the airflow. So you believe i am just fine with 2x120mm Fans Input (top) and 1X140 output (rear) + PSU as outpout (front).

kinda old topic. i hope somebody will respond.
i just got the same problem right now.
and same as op, i think missing the bottom fan is an issue.

which watercooling radiator fits in there while operating a bottom fan (thought of bitfenix spectre 200mm or 230mm)?

so, i would need an advice for an radiator/(bottom)fan combination whitch doesn't cause any clearance issues.

@OP why can't u use a fan in the bottom, there is one in the picture, seemes to fit in there well, doesn't it?
is this a bit fenix spectra 200mm? which radiator is this (as u mentioned u cant operate bottom fan, i guess its not the h90)?

i would be pleased if somebody could help me out.
