Bitfenix Shinobi Air Mod?

(Theres no case forum so I hope this is close enough)
So I have a Bitfenix Shinobi Mid Tower case and I love it, smaller than I would like sometimes but it's home, right?

However I would like it to bring in a bit more air considering I am using 2 intake fans on it's front mounts to try and deliver something my GPU can suck in that isn't its own exhaust swirling off of the side panel.

Does anyone have suggestions for the best way to open up the front without making it look like I just cut a big hole in the plastic? Tools for the job, finishing the edges or something to lay behind the hole like a mesh they would use? Figure maybe someone in this community has poked around with modding cases, always think a custom touch makes the PC more personal than a new case.

Would also consider opening a slot along the side of the case right where the GPU exhausts its air to help it flow out of the case, would this be a bad idea?

(My exhaust fan is the rear spot currently serving my Corsair water loop since it doesnt fit anywhere else in the MidTower if that makes it more clear for why i want the air out the side.)

Why not put the corsair at the top instead of the back and open up the back fan slot. Also looks like there is a bottom fan slot.

Getting better more powerful fans for the front will help bring in more air. If it's the stock bitfenix fans, they are quiet, but don't move air volume like some other fans.

The fan and Radiator for the H55 I am using wont fit anywhere other than the back slot due to how close the motherboard sits to the top of the case. I would have preferred it to be mounted up top but was unable to do so. I tossed the BitFenix stock fan up top to blow over my RAM and it seems to do well.

The 2 front fans are Corsair AF120's that replaced 2 louder fans a couple weeks ago.

I would like to open the front up to just to give a more direct line of air to the fans than the bottom and side mesh of the case. But having not done so before I wouldn't want to accidentally make it looks like a gnarled mess of plastic by using the wrong method if someone else has modded a case before and might be able to offer insight.

Cutting the Side slot would not be an issue for the GPU to push its air through, but would that be a poor idea and end up being essentially ineffective for it?
